Patches of fur missing on it’s mangy but solid frame,
but still, it moves composed and cool.
The last one chosen from the litter,
slinking by with grit, as if covered in glitter.
With injured paw and scraggly ears,
visiting alleyways, cozy nooks, and dark corners for years…
Chewing chards from spoiled Swiss, rotten morsels and
crumbs from collapsed cracker boxes, but…
it’s essence and heart, stay saucy like Mott's is.
Street Cat travels from town to town,
meeting other felines with velvety gowns,
groomed, and fluffed, with pride puffed up.
They use imported shampoo, with triple berry scent.
Handled with care by state-of-the-art vets.
Nonetheless, Street Cat speaks their language with a rustic purr.
She’s custom made and more sophisticated than any catty her.
Galivanting to galas and grabbing crab and veal patties,
socializing and chatting with the finest feline baddies.
Then, back toward shanty towns, Street Cat goes,
Grouped up with more cats with missing toes, leg shorter than the others, limping listlessly and out of breath.
Nevertheless, Street Cat purrs their language too with ease.
A catitarian hosts master of ceremonies…
Classic, cool and unbeat…
Street Cat grooves from affluent hoods to back to the streets!
