“I ate five wedding cake cookies, when mama told me not to.

Please forgive me papa,

they were also dipped in fondue.”

“Oh, little Rochelle,

I won’t scold or yell.

But to you I tell..

Come close…Come near…

make your ears perk my dear.

I will give you gifts throughout the years.”

God checked off his roster and announced each aloud.

“Wisdom! Love! Humility! and Respect!

Courage! Endurance! and Selflessness!”

They all skipped out of heaven and jumped inside gifts.

Then tumbled inside Rochelle’s spirit like gymnastic tricks.

“Thank you eager presents for obeying my role call.

Your duties are to never allow Rochelle to feel small.”

Then God gave another wedding cake cookie to his loved baby doll.
